A boat it a containing object, floating in a temporary environment and located on the intermediate line between sunset and ascension. In a space-dependent installation, actions of disruption, disassembly, splitting and hanging in the air have created a composition that undermines the role of the object as a unitary and protective space. The work consists of sections sawn from sailboat 420 that have been treated and hung as discontinuous vertebrae that resemble a grid of a fish trying to balance itself with the water level line. The black-painted lower part emits deadly liquid tar, while the white-painted upper part tends to rise from its life. The work that invites walking in its spaces, undermines and floods the balance and tension between nature and man, between the stable and the fragile and between the dead and the living.
