In a violent act my old oil paintings were separated from their frames and cut up. The fragments that became readymade were put into a mold and cast in white concrete. The burial of the paintings was accompanied by a deliberate failure of the casting which caused cracking and breaking. In an archaeological act, each 'cast painting' underwent ghosting and repair that united its parts but also revealed what was hidden in it. The buried painting is recreated as an object. On the floor of the gallery the works were placed like a stream of secret pill scrolls that preserve memory inside a capsule.
