A 'Rowing' fitness facility was treated in its form and materiality and was lit up like a creature on an electric pole. The work examines relationships between device, fitness and competence and the disruption in it embodies its conceptual opposite. It is a parody of a submissive and powerless character, whose color is drawn from the gym clothes aesthetic of the 80s. The title taken from empty slogans' that adorn the gyms and points to commercialization that often turns them into a space of frustration..
